What is BEE Free used for?

BEE is a drag-&-drop email editor. BEE Free is the free version of it. Learn more about the editor here.

You can use BEE Free to create an email message using its innovative, easy-to-use features.

You can then preview the message to see how it will likely look in your email client, send a test to yourself, and download the HTML source code so that you can use it in another application.

To download the message, click on the "Save" button in the bottom-right corner and then on the "Download" button on the following page. BEE will create a ZIP file containing both the HTML and the images, and prompt you to download it to your computer. Please note that preparing the file may take a few seconds.

Once the file has been downloaded to your computer, unzip it and you will see the *.html file. Some email programs allow you to import the ZIP itself, loading both the HTML and the images. Others will require that you separately import the HTML and the images.

In this discovery process for me, the mystery has been "Some email programs..." WHICH email programs can I use to send my BEE-created emails? I'm sold, otherwise :)

Hi Daniel, you can use it with ANY email programs. The "some" referred to the fact that some ESPs include a zip import feature, some don't. Still, you can get an email built with BEE into the other ones as well by using other ways to do so.

And it's not just ESPs. Let's say you want to use a message created with BEE in Gmail. There is no "import zip file" feature in Gmail, but you can simply send the message to your Gmail account using the Send Test feature and the message will be there.

    Hi,
I have the zip created by BEE but i want to import them other time to BEE and edit it. How can i do it?

  • Avatar
    Sergio M.

Hi Diego, it's currently not possible to re-import your zip file into BeeFree. What you can do is to open your previous message by clicking on the button "Welcome back! Nice to see you again | Continue editing your last message?" on https://beefree.io/

Also, if you'd like to save your messages in the cloud (plus many more features) you can check out BEE Pro and sign up for an account (15 day free trial, $10/month afterwards) on http://beefree.io/pro/

Hi Elif, BeeFree allows you to save and download only one message. It's not possible to revert back to a previous version or to a different message you had previously created in BeeFree. If you wish to save multiple messages, you can do so with a BEE Pro account, which includes a 15 day free trial and is $10/month afterwards. Feel free to check it out and sign up on http://beefree.io/pro/
