Other questions about BEE Pro

Why is BEE Pro separate from beefree.io?

We want to keep beefree.io the totally frictionless system that people have been using and loving for months now. No signups or logins of any kind. Only one or two clicks to start working with the BEE email editor. Super-simple user experience.

Can I send campaigns in BEE Pro?

No, BEE Pro is not an email marketing system, but rather an email design platform. It's 100% focused on giving you tools to make it quick, easy, and fun to create beautiful, mobile-ready email messages and templates. You can then use them in other applications that instead focus on sending and tracking email campaigns.

Does BEE Pro create a multi-part message (MIME)?

No, BEE Pro only generates an HTML file. It does not create the text-only version of the email. It's normally your sending platform that takes the HTML of the message, prepares a text-only version of it, and combines them into a multi-format file (more about MIME). Some email marketing platforms, like MailUp, allow you to choose whether to create the text version automatically, or edit it manually.

My business sells templates. Can they be used on BEE Pro?

Not yet, but it's something that we are looking into. Contact us to discuss.

Why can't I...?

BEE Pro is meant to be a very "lean" application, squarely focused on helping you design awesome emails.

Here are some of the ideas that we're thinking of for the future. Let us know what's important to you!

I am trying to figure out how to not have each image stack when it resizes to mobile. The images become way to big and I'm wondering if there's a way to create each image container so that when viewed via mobile they're side by side without building the file this way.

Hi there, I'm pretty sure that BeeFree had autosave functionality? I am loving BeePro, but no autosave is killing me...I've lost so much time having to recreate newsletters because I've accidentally gone back a page. Is there any plan to implement autosave? Thank you, Lisa

Hi Lisa, thanks for the feedback. We agree and that will be addressed soon, first of all with a warning when you are about to leave the page.

That sounds great. A warning message would be an excellent interim solution. Thanks for the quick response.

Hi Massimo, any update on this issue?

Hi Lisa, yes, it was deployed yesterday. Try editing a message in BEE Pro and then clicking on the "Back" button in the browser, for example: if the message has changed, you should now see a window that asks you whether you wish to stay or go. Let us know if you have any issues with it, and thanks again for your feedback.

Hi Massimo, at first - have just paid for PRO version, over all nice work :)
Before creating serious mail, is there way to implement hamburger menu to mail?

Hi Martin, thanks for the kind words! To answer your question: not as a natively supported feature, but maybe using the Custom HTML block? http://help.beefree.io/hc/en-us/articles/207001729-Working-with-custom-HTML

Hi Kimberly, there's no limit to the number of messages you can create and save in BEE Pro. Feel free to take a look and try it out! We have a 15-day free trial; you can sign up and learn more on http://beefree.io/pro/

Hi Massimo... I am trying to find a editor that lets me build popups... I see that the min with of the block is 480. In your judgement... could I use Bee as a popup editor?

Hi Alejandro, unfortunately right now that's a hardcoded parameter, but we are looking at making it a variable. There are indeed companies that are using BEE to build popups.
