What's on the roadmap? Massimo Arrigoni January 10, 2018 22:21 Follow This page has moved. You can now find... what's on the short-term roadmap recently published updates ... in the new BEE Plugin Docs site. Have more questions? Submit a request Comments Justin Wellesley-Smith July 28, 2015 23:51 I am looking for an update. I believe the original plan was that you would be going to Beta in August. Is this still the timeline? We have done all our preliminary testing and would like to know how/when this will move ahead. Thanks Massimo Arrigoni July 29, 2015 01:10 Hi Justin! Yes, we are working hard to launch the features above - and therefore our Premium Plans - in mid-August (http://help.beefree.io/hc/en-us/articles/203054451-How-much-is-BEE-Plugin-). Dan Bonville August 26, 2015 11:31 I was wondering if there was any update on the Custom Block features. Being able to add "Block Types" and tailor their behavior to our system is a key component for our product. Thanks! Dan Massimo Arrigoni August 27, 2015 05:44 Hi Dan, thanks for you note. Let's separate the two features: CUSTOM HTML BLOCK: that's coming very soon. It's the ability for you to click on a "HTML block" content tile and insert your own block of HTML to drag into the editor. In other words, the user will see a textarea where they can past some HTML, and then drag it onto the message that they are working on. For example, you may want to insert some product recommendation HTML code that a product recommendation company gave to you to insert into your email messages. CUSTOM CONTENT: that's coming later. It's the ability for you to tell the plugin to display custom content tiles that users will be able to interact with and drag into the editor. For example: "Products", "Categories", "Blog post articles", "Real estate listings", you name it. The idea is that each tile will be a list of content items (e.g. a list of real estate properties), submitted by you to the plugin in a certain, pre-defined format (e.g. JSON), parsed by the plugin, and made available to the user of the editor. The user would select the real estate property to place into the message from a list of available listings (i.e. the content tile would allow the user to search and pick from the array of items displayed), and then drag and drop it into the editor. Note: "CUSTOM CONTENT" is still in the design phase. My description above should be taken as a "possible idea of how it might work", but things might change. Hope this helps! Dan Bonville August 31, 2015 16:08 Thanks Massimo, I think the "Custom Content" is what I was more referring to. Here is a sample workflow: We produce a CMS used by schools. Part of that is a News module where admins can create and post news stories. Often, they want to include these stories (or a summary/link) in their newsletters that are sent via email. So, ideally, a user would be able to drag in a "News" content block. Then, they could set some configuration options specific to our CMS to say what categories they want to pull news posts from, or what date range etc. After setting those options, we would be able to inject the correct HTML into that block based on what the user wants to pull in. Our current (home baked) bulk emailing tool allows for this functionality, and being able to replicate that behavior would be HUUUUUGE for us. Please let me know if I can be of any assistance. Happy to help any way I can. Steven Pearl November 18, 2015 17:26 who can I contact to discuss pricing and functionality for an integration we would like to do with Bee; we have already signed up for your plugin Massimo Arrigoni November 18, 2015 18:30 Hi Steven, thanks for contacting us. Please email sales at mailup dot com. Angel Bartomeu March 07, 2016 12:29 Hi Massimo. Any idea about when the "Custom Content" feature will be ready? This is very important for my case. Thanks. Massimo Arrigoni March 23, 2016 23:31 Hi Angel, sorry for the delay in the reply. No firm ETA yet. Also, there are a few different ways in which we are looking to implement "Custom Content". I would love to discuss with you what specific functionality you are looking for, to learn more about your use case. I encourage you to email me directly at arrigoni at mailup dot com. Thanks much! Ben Chapman April 14, 2016 10:35 What about some testing of emails like Link Testing and Spam testing? Massimo Arrigoni April 15, 2016 00:36 Yes, we're thinking about that too. Probably via an integration with an external system like Email On Acid or Litmus, or both. Vadim November 10, 2016 17:04 Hi Massimo, do you have an update to the roadmap? Thank you!
